More on wine

I’ve transferred the gooseberry wine to a couple of plastic bottles and thought it would be good to taste it to see how it’s going.

Not too bad. Not as sweet as the plum (too sweet, not much ‘kick’) or raspberry (nice, but probably also not much alcohol) so it’s a bit more like normal wine. There was a bit at the bottom which was more cloudy so I drank that and I have a suspicion that there might be a smidgeon of alcohol in it. It’s actually quite ok.

Just to make sure my early judgement wasn’t too hasty I tried a little more and I was right: less sweet but quite drinkable.
